Around the House Tips
Home Made Laundry Soap:
- 1 cake of toilet soap (Sunlight bar)
- 1/2 cup of washing soda (Arm & Hammer)
- 1/2 cup Borax
Shed soap and add 5 cups of water - boil until melted.
Put 3 gallons (48 cups) of hot water into 5 gallon bucket .
Add soap and stir really well.
Add washing soda - stir really well.
Add Borax and stir until dissolved.
Let sit overnight. Then, mix and stir again.
Note: Use 1/2 cup per load
* Cost is 79 cents per patch to make.
* Washes 110 loads (but if they are red PEI soil stains, reduce to 102)

Indoor Gardening
No place to hang your plant grow lights? Use a wood book shelf
stand. Remove the shelves and hang the lights from the top shelf or
bar. Place plants underneath. You can also hang plants along the side
